The Kingdom chairs the Executive Council of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization.

​​​The Kingdom has excelled in obtaining the presidency of the Executive Council of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) by electing its representative and Executive Council member, Hani Al-Muqbil, as Chairman of the Organization's Executive Council for the period 2021-2023. This confirms Saudi Arabia's pivotal and influential role in dialogue and understanding with countries of the world. Al-Muqbil said he looks forward to working with the current Council members to contribute to achieving the organization's goals, strengthening dialogue and cooperation, and everything that serves the organization in its joint work among sister Arab countries.​​
